Tony Azcue founded Tony's Auto Classics in 2001.
His love for the classic cars and his desire to
preserve them is his motivation. Tony's mission
is to provide the highest quality service and workmanship
to all classic owners, whether it is a car, a truck or a
motorcycle.
Tony is a University of Texas
graduate in Electrical Engineering. He has been a classic
Mustang owner since 1967. He has parallel careers in Avionics,
Communications, Telecommunications and
Manufacturing.
He has been a member of the Mustang Club of
America since 1988, the Shelby American Automobile Club
since 2002 and the local clubs of Mustangs of East Texas
& NTMC for several
years.
Tony's first Mustang in his collection is a 1966
Coupe that his brother Ray rescued from a Texas field and
restored it. He had so much attention and admiration from
driving this car, that he began to improve on the restoration
and eventually brought it to the level of "Concours
Trailered". His collection consist of a 1965 Black Fastback, a
1966 Signal Flare Red Coupe, a 1966 White Fastback (Shelby
replica) and a 1968 Candy Apple Red Shelby GT-350.
The 1965 Black 2+2 has competed at MCA, IACA,
NTMC, MET and other local shows. It has won numerous 1st place
awards in Texas and other states. Participating in all of
these shows throughout the years has allowed me to meet many
wonderful people of which some of them have become
good friends.
